While I’ve only been DJing since the late 1990s, the roots of electronic dance music in America can be traced back to the disco era of the late 1970s. Disco enchanted the urban jungles of the United States, moving crowds onto dance floors with drum machines, synthesized rhythms, and a sound that could turn strangers into a community long after the music stopped and the dawn of Sunday morning began. In modern-day terms, we call that a Saturday night downtown.

Not much has changed when it comes to choosing the right DJ. The music can make or break the vibe of your wedding. But here’s a little secret: the real trick to great wedding vibes is a packed dance floor. And that, my friend, is called chemistry.
